PART A: 4 GAL PART B: 1 GALINSPECTION
Surface must be structurally sound, dry, and free of oil, grease, curing agents, dirt, dust or other foreign matter. Surface must be roughed up or porous. This product is designed for use over untreated concrete surfaces free from wax, dusting preventive sealers, deep penetrating sealers, bond breaking compounds and release agents and other similar chemicals that will interfere with proper adhesion and lead to premature coating failures.SURFACE PREPARATION
Prepare surface by sanding, grinding dry or wet, sandblasting or shot blasting to achieve a clean, porous and uniform exposed aggregate finish with a CSP (Concrete Surface Profile) rating of “2” that will allow the product to penetrate the surface. Diamond grinding is the most reliable method of preparation. Thoroughly vacuum surface clean and entirely, making sure to be 100% latience free.MILDEW
DO NOT PAINT OVER MILDEW. Mildew is a fungus, brown, black, gray or even white in color, and will rapidly grow through any coating applied over it. A solution of 50% household bleach and 50% water will kill the mildew. See precautions on bleach label for handling before using.THINNING
When using this product as a Primer, thin slightly with water if necessary. To thin add up to maximum 32oz. of water to a preblended 1 gallon of Part A and Part B mixture and blend slowly and thoroughly.DRYING TIME/ CURE TIME
Under normal Conditions (70ºF & 50% Humidity) dries to touch in 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on formulation. May be recoated when dry to the touch. Do not apply to surfaces when ambient or surface temperatures are below 50ºF.CONCRETE SURFACE PREPARATION
Concrete surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of disintegrating chalky material or previously applied coatings to insure satisfactory results. For proper adhesion surface must be mechanically ground or shot blasted to a uniform exposed aggregate finish with a CSP (Concrete Surface Profile) rating of 2. The surface profile should resemble 80 grit sandpaper to be suitable for coating.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Immediately prior to application, dampen surface with a water sprayer. Do not puddle or leave standing water, spray only enough to darken concrete surface. Then begin applying the properly mixed epoxy always making sure to keep a damp edge ahead of the application until the floor is complete. For best results on horizontal surfaces, pour the entire mixture evenly onto the surface as soon as possible after mixing. Use a 3/8” nap roller or squeegee to spread mixture over the surface, back rolling the area to be coated. For best results apply at least 2 coats at 300 sq. ft. per gallon. Clean tools with soap and water before curing begins. To increase skid resistance, stir in an approved non-skid additive into your A & B mixture own unique look on its own.COVERAGE
