PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

E2U WL (Wet Look) Waterbased Acrylic Sealer is a single component and used as a protective coating over concrete, masonry and wood substrates, including stamped, stained, and exposed aggregates. It is a weatherproof sealer that is resistant to the sun, moisture, industrial chemicals, oil, grease, and most caustic cleaning agents. E2U WL Waterbased Acrylic Sealer will extend the surface life to organic surfaces. When properly applied, its exceptional penetrating properties will seal concrete and other surfaces keeping them easy to clean and maintain. E2U WL Waterbased Acrylic Sealer is highly UV Stable and gives wet-look on concrete. Multiple coats will increase the gloss to desired level. E2U WL Waterbased Acrylic Sealer will apply milky white to ensure complete coverage, but dries to a transparent, durable Wet look finish.

APPLICATIONS

For use over Stone, Concrete floors, driveways, other natural surfaces and stamped concrete, exposed aggregate, colored concrete pavers where high quality, durable sealing requirements are mandatory.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

E2U WL Waterbased Acrylic Sealer may be applied by a brush, roller, lamb’s wool applicator or industrial sprayer. Avoid any excessive buildup or puddling of product. Applications Roller: Apply with a 3/8” to 3/4” nap roller cover. Avoid over rolling. Always maintain a wet edge. Airless Sprayer: Spray by overlapping each pass. Always apply in an even film deposit and maintain a working wet line. E2U WL Waterbased Acrylic Sealer may be applied in multiple coats to achieve desired degree of protection and gloss. Sealers are created to work best in a light & thin coating, "Thin to Win!". Applying the sealer thin & even is essential. Do not apply if air temperature and/ or temperature of substrate are less than 50 degrees F. Dries to touch in 30 minutes and may be opened to normal traffic after 2 hours, heavy traffic after 24 hours.  

COVERAGE

Approximately 300-450 SF/gal per gallon. Coverage will depend on surface porosity, joint width and application method. Second coat will take slightly less product. Note: Test a small area before applying.  

CONCRETE PREPARATION

Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry, and free of oil, stains and silicone compounds. Do not apply E2U WL waterbased Acrylic Sealer until all traces of curing compounds have been completely dissipated. Substrate to be coated must be moisture free. Pavers must be clean and free of efflorescence. Excellent for use over colored concrete, expect a slight color change. E2U WL waterbased Acrylic Sealer will enhance colors. Always, do a test panel for approval.  

Storage & Shelf Life

Product must be kept in its original, unopened and tightly sealed container. Store in a dry and well ventilated place with controlled temperature (50°F to 90°F). Keep sheltered from weather and direct sunlight. In proper storage conditions, the product’s shelf life is 12 month following production (see date on packaging). Store product in original container and close lid tightly after each use.

E2U products are warranted for one year after date of purchase. Please refer to the Limited Material warranty for additional clarification.

WARNING! SLIP AND FALL PRECAUTIONS

OSHA and the American Disabilities Act (ADA) have now set enforceable standards for slipresistance on pedestrian surfaces. The current coefficient of friction required by ADA is .6 on level surfaces and .8 on ramps. E2U Flooring recommends the use of angular slip resistant aggregate in all coatings or flooring systems that may be exposed to wet, oily or greasy conditions. It is the contractor and end users’ responsibility to provide a flooring system that meets current safety standards. E2U or its sales agents will not be responsible for injury incurred in a slip and fall accident.

E2U, as a blender of processed material in the State of California, is required by Proposition 65 to warn that one or more of the components contained in the product contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The State of California (Proposition 65) requires this warning in the absence of definitive testing to prove that the defined risks do not exist.    

Handling Precautions

Use only with adequate ventilation. Appropriate cartridge-type respirator must be used during application in confined areas. Avoid contact with skin. Some individuals may be allergic to epoxy resin.
